iPod Glas

Mae cariad Cai at gerddoriaeth yr un mor ddwfn. Mae ei wreiddiau Cymreig cryfion a thraddodiadol, a'i addysg prifysgol, wedi ei wneud yn agored i sawl math o ganu. Pan mae'n cyfarfod â John, caiff ei brofiad cerddorol ei ymestyn i'r entrychion.

Cerddoriaeth Cymraeg

Caiff y gymuned dderwyddol yn HMS Conway ei dal ynghyd gan galendr paganaidd hynafol. Mae gallu cerddorol rhyfeddol yn ganolog i'r dathliadau hyn, a chaiff llawer o amser hamdden ei dreulio yn ymarfer, efo Nia yn geffyl blaen.

Cerddoriaeth Wyddelig

Mae gan Diarmud gariad at ganu gwerin Gaeleg traddodiadol, a chaneuon morwrol yn arbennig.

Prynu Llyfr

They are sleeping on the boats now
To be ready for the flood,
For the flood they know is coming
To lift them from the mud.
For the flood they know is coming
To wash their fears away,
They are sleeping on the boats now
To be ready for that day.

Ten million stars float on the water

Ten thousand trees stand on the fell

A hundred knights sleep in the darkness

A single word to break the spell

We are sleeping in the trees now
To save them for that day,
For that day we know is coming
To carry worlds away.
For that day we know is coming
To teach us what is good,
We are sleeping in the trees now
To keep faith with the wood.

Ten million stars float on the water

Ten thousand trees stand on the fell

A hundred knights sleep in the darkness

A single word to break the spell

He is sleeping by the fire now
To keep away the cold,
The cold he knows is coming
To claim what he has sold.
The cold he knows is coming
To take his breath away,
He is sleeping by the fire now
Until the shining day.

Ten million stars float on the water

Ten thousand trees stand on the fell

A hundred knights sleep in the darkness

A single word to break the spell

It is sleeping in the words now
The mem’ry of this life,
This life we know is slender
And bladed like a knife.
This life we know is fragile
And speeding fast away.
It is sleeping in the words now
The echo of this day.

Ten million stars float on the water

Ten thousand trees stand on the fell

A hundred knights sleep in the darkness

A single word to break the spell

Cerddoriaeth

Mae cerddoriaeth yn rhan anhepgorol o Hiraeth. Mae hoffter dwys o gerddoriaeth yn gyffredin i nifer o'r cymeriadau, ac mae pob math o gerdd yn treiddio drwy'r berthynas rhwng y prif gymeriadau.

Pinc mp3

Rhoddodd brawd Mona, Idwal, iPod pinc iddi ar ei phen-blwydd yn ddwy ar bymtheg. Roedd yn gyforiog o gerddoriaeth o'i phlentyndod - cyfuniad o hoff ganu gwlad ei mam, roc ei thad, pop Idwal, a gitarau swnllyd Mona. Yr iPod ydy unig gysylltiad Mona â'r bobl roedd yn eu caru, a chymaint ydy ei defnydd ohono nes i'r lliw arno wisgo i ffwrdd.
